Your identity document is one of the most sensitive things you can hand over. Here is how we look after it, your money and your account.
Your documents stay private
Identity documents and selfies are stored privately and encrypted. They are never visible to other members, never shown on your public profile and never shared outside our verification team.
Sign-in codes are single use
One-time codes sent to your phone are single use, expire quickly and are never stored in a form anyone can read back to you.
One account per person
An identity document and a phone number can each verify a single account. Anything that looks like a duplicate or an impersonation attempt is held for a person to review.
Access is restricted and logged
You can only ever see your own account and your own groups. Access to member records is limited to the small team that needs it, and every access and decision is logged.
Every cedi is accounted for
Every contribution, fee and payout is recorded against your group and reconciled with the mobile money partner, so balances and turns can always be traced and explained.
Verified withdrawals only
Cash-outs go only to a mobile money wallet in your own verified name, and sensitive actions ask you to confirm who you are again before they go through.
What we do not do
- We do not publish, sell or share your documents with other members.
- We do not let an automated score approve you on its own.
- We do not allow anonymous sign-ups or unverified withdrawals.
- We do not ask for your mobile money PIN, and we never store it.
